Road Trip to Rexburg

Here is the Rexburg, Idaho LDS Temple (without snow)
We took the kids to Rexburg this last weekend to see the brand new temple! The kids were so excited to go inside. Their favorite rooms were the baptistry and the Celestial room. It was a neat experience to take the kids inside the temple!
We stayed at a Best Western Hotel, called the Cotton Tree. We had stayed there 2 1/2 years ago when we were there for a golf tourniment, and were so impressed with it so we just had to stay there again! It has a nice pool and hot tub along side a big eating area where they serve a complimentary breakfast in the morning. The best thing- family suites that sleep 6, with sliding glass doors going right out to all of it. It's even landscaped pretty, and it's all indoors. We did this trip with our dear friends, the Jarvis Family who are in our ward. They had the room right next door to us, so we all had a wonderful time together!
We went bowling at the BYU-I activity center. The kids had a lot of fun and did great bowling. Hailey beat me by a lot- all on her own! It was actually very impressive.
Ali was so cute. The kids used the 6 pound balls, and she would take her ball with both hands, right up to the lane and barely roll it down. It would just creep down the lane and barely hit the pins. She would be thrilled. Anyway, we had such a great time on that little 48 hour trip!
