Happy Birthday Cody!

Cody turned 7 today! In our home, the birthday child gets to pick all the meals we have on their birthday, also what we do that day. So for breakfast we had chocolate chip pancakes. For lunch, tuna sandwiches.
Then later we spent the afternoon at the water park.
As our tradition, we went on our date night, just Cody with Mom and Dad. We had dinner at Red Robin- (always Red Robin), then to Boondocks. (That's when the camera battery ran out, darn it.)
Then back home to share cake and ice cream with the rest of the family. Cody had a great time on his birthday!
Here are just a couple of my favorite pictures of Cody when he was just a year old. He was such a cute baby, always smiling and happy. Nothing has changed. He is still "happy-go-lucky" and lights up a room. He's still just as cute, and he makes me smile.
