Yard Work is Hard Work!

Ahhh, finally... Our front yard is done! Rod and I (and the kids) worked on it all day to get it done. Whew! It's actually been a several week project.
We've been in our home over 3 years now and have done nothing with the spot up by our front window. We want to put a nice fountain there eventually, but we could not decide exactly what else to do there. So instead of spending a bunch of money we decided to transplant some of our other plants to different places and spread them out. We also got some iris plants from Adam and Jennie (bro and sis-in-law) for free of course, and my mom gave me another beautiful flower plant. So with the transplanting, we spent NOTHING!! Yipee!
We also got some free river rock from someone who didn't want it and were able to fill in the side of the house behind the gate.
so other than that brown spot in the middle of the lawn (because we need a new sprinkler-head) the yard looks so good now and it feels great! My only regret is fogetting to take "before" pictures of the yard. Bummer.

Ang, it looks great! Yard work is such a pain at the time but so rewarding when it's done!
