Thanksgiving '08

First of all, Happy Birthday to my sweet sis-in-law, Tashi on Thanksgiving. (She's the one on the left.) Love that Care Bear Birthday cake! (Actually, it was very yum!)
And their beautiful new baby girl, Payten born only a week before.
And congrats to my cute cousin, Corinne who was recently engaged to her missionary (that she waited 2 years for) Adrian- who we all love already. They will be married in the temple 2 days after Christmas!
Have you ever seen such a huge bowl of whipped topping? WOW! My Grandmother made it, and said it took her forever to whip. Uh... Yeah!! How sweet of her to make sure that EVERYONE is sure to get topping on their pie. LOL!
Grandmother always brings gifts for the children at the big family gatherings. This time it was matching turquois shirts for the girls and super-hero tees for the boys. They were thrilled!
We were all happy to have our fave uncle Von and Aunt Kelly over from Portland for Thanksgiving. He has always been my fave uncle, and has also won the hearts of all the granchildren.
Grandfather found a chef hat in the kitchen and thought he would try and look the part. Isn't he cute?
My sis, Aimee showed up to Thanksgiving dinner proudly wearing her Twilight shirt, and I was jealous. (I hadn't seen Twilight yet. She and her girlfriends all went last Friday and had on these matching shirts. How cool is that?)
Last year my side of the family started reserving the stakecenter for our Thanksgiving feast, and it has worked out wonderfully! The kids have a blast running around in the gym and we all get to visit and let them loose. This year we all played a game of wiffle ball- both the kids and grown-ups. It was a blast!
And on Friday night I finally got to go see Twilight with my mom and aunt. LOVED it!!

It was a fab weekend for us. Our Christmas tree is up, Mr. Peeps and Stanley made it safely to our home, and the kids go back to school after a month-long track break. Yippee!! This will give me a chance to finally get caught up on some things and be ready for Christmas (I hope).
